First I Would Like To Say…

Hypnotherapy is Not what you may think it is.

For many years hypnotherapy has been made out to be some woo-woo magic trick where the guy with the “pocket watch” waves it in front of somebody’s face and forces them to release their control over their own mind. This could not be farther from the Truth! There is no “mind controlling” done in hypnosis.

When we think of hypnosis the first thing that seems to pop into many peoples minds are the performances done on T.V. or as an act at a party or on a cruise ship.

The entertainer during these “acts” want the audience to believe that the person hypnotized has no control and will do anything the entertainer tells the person to do.

Although it may look like this is really happening, it is not.

What is REALLY going on behind the scenes is a persons willingness to “not disappoint” the crowd of people watching the show. They follow along with the commands given because they are in the spot light.

It is the moment where “all eyes are on them” and naturally a person wants to give in and go with the flow of the entertainment, allowing themselves to feel loose and follow along with the movements directed to them.

Long story short, they still have complete control over their own actions. Freewill never leaves a person, not even for one second!

We always have control of our own actions no matter what situation or circumstance we may face.

With that said, the Truth about hypnotherapy may surprise most people!

We naturally go through hypnosis on our own every single day.

Our brain consistently goes through a pattern of 4 major wavelengths every single day.

These natural brain wavelengths are classified as:

~Beta: wide awake, alert.
~Alpha: light trance; e.g. relaxed watching t.v.
~Theta: deep trance; e.g. meditation, deeply relaxed, day dreaming.
~Delta: deep in sleep.

In a normal functioning brain, which you have if you are reading this sentence, we are constantly going in and out of “hypnotic trances” daily.

Really amazing isn’t it!? Most people have no idea this is even going on during their life, but it is the natural way of a fully functioning, healthy human mind!

The reason why I (and you should too) find this so interesting

Hypnotherapy changes lives! It changed mine, just as it did for thousands of other people and continues to change lives for hundreds more every day.

Over many years, hypnotherapy has been used for “simple” healing acts such as to help a person quit smoking, lose weight, and to overcome fears.

The reason why this original technique of hypnotherapy does not usually stick for a person’s lifetime is because the practitioner keeps their client in the “light trance” of Alpha.

Since the 17th century, the discovery of what hypnotherapy can really do has come a long way!

The discovery of what the human mind can do in a deep hypnotic trance is unbelievable! Our minds are capable of so much, especially when it comes to controlling our own behaviors.

One person we can thank the most for exploring past the written lines of hypnotherapy and venturing into the unknown aspects of it is Dolores Cannon.

Over 45 years ago Dolores Cannon developed her own technique of hypnotherapy called QHHT. Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique.

Dolores is deeply admired by many for her bravery and curiosity that took hypnotherapy to the next level, changing peoples lives forever!

Many practitioners were taught not to go past the “light trance” of Alpha because, as Dolores puts it, “strange things happen in the deep trance” where other hypnosis practitioners were scared to enter.

Back when hypnotherapy was first being used, practitioners were scared of the unknown, but not Dolores Cannon! Her curiosity drove her to keep asking questions and exploring outside of the lines of what would be considered “normal hypnotherapy.”

With her clients permission, Dolores started venturing into the deeper part of the mind. She brought her clients into the “deep trance” of Theta, which is naturally entered every time a person falls asleep and wakes up.

Without letting her client fall into the wavelength of Delta, being fully asleep, she kept them awake by asking them simple questions, allowing the person’s mind to remain in the Theta wavelength (a deep trance).

What she found by doing this was astonishing!

Her clients began to describe unthinkable things! They spoke of things they would not dare to dream of saying while in the “light trance” of Alpha, let alone in their consciously, wide awake state of Beta.

To learn in detail about Dolores Cannon’s story and to know how her work began in the first place, I recommend reading her first book written, Five Lives Remembered.

The transformations that can be made by the individuals will to change is remarkable!

The amount of healing that can take place physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually is unfathomable! And yet I have seen it and heard it with my own eyes and ears, just as thousands of others have testified to as well.

This is what it’s all about! To reach the deepest part of yourself to fully understand who you are and to understand how you can change your unwanted habits, break negative life patterns, and release health issues.

The possibilities are endless! Once you are able to reach this part of yourself, all of the inner knowing, wisdom, and guidance is at your finger tips!

It is an experience every person should go through at least once.

I recommend one to two sessions for desired results, but after that would be a personal preference if you would like to continue with more sessions.

Typically only one session is all that is needed to achieve the client’s desires results.

A “tune up” session can always be scheduled for a future date if the client believes it is in their best interest.

This is something that generations of Buddhist monks, Hindus, and all others who spend years of soul searching through meditation seek; to connect with the absolute deepest part of yourself in order to gain wisdom and guidance through inner knowing.

Intro To My Hypnosis Practice…

As a certified hypnotherapist, I practice in the art of deep meditation.

I am able to take someone through a guided deep meditation to find their inner wisdom in order to help them heal and grow as a person.

I use a method of hypnosis called Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy, discovered over 45 years ago by an amazing woman named Dolores Cannon.

I use her technique along with my own to help people address the problems they want resolved.

Someone could choose to have a session for a number of reasons; curiosity, help with a big decision, healing emotionally, mentally, physically, and/or spiritually, the possibilities are endless and completely up to you!

Whatever personally motivates you to have a session is what’s important.

The main reason I practice hypnotherapy is to help people heal and find their inner guidance to change their world.

There is so much hurt we suppress that always seems to come forward in our daily lives holding us back and causing us to not reach our full potential or happiness.

I believe we all deserve to find peace within us, to find real joy, and to heal from the heartache this world puts us through.
