My Human Experience

Together We Will Move Mountains

Growing the collective consciousness one person at a time.

Change. Although many may see it as bad, we all still crave it. It’s something that cannot be stopped or halted. Change is something we need to see in our world every day. Without it there are no encouragements to grow, and a whole lot of boredom.

Even the Earth itself goes through changes. Constantly evolving, creating the movements that form the landscapes we get to see today. Beauty is brought on by the creation of change.

With that in mind, I would like to see people move into the next phase of our evolution; changing what we see today for the beauty of tomorrow. Replacing all of the hate and violence with love and understanding. But first, we must understand ourselves. We tend to look outwards for answers when really we hold the answers within us.

Most of us don’t take the time out of our busy days to get to know who we truly are.

This leaves us at the end feeling empty, and trying to fill the gap with the things that will never hold a permanent place within our hearts. We have tried to solve internal conflicts with empty external promises.

For centuries humans have had an internal battle that we always seem to face outwards. The truth is, we need to look inwards for the solution. Discovering who we are helps us to discover how to treat one another. This will then lead us to the discovery of what we have always been seeking. WHO ARE WE? Why are we here!? And will there ever be world peace? Questions that have been seeking the true answers to since the days of human existence.

In order to get these answers we have been longing to know, we must have connection. We need to connect with ourselves first, getting to know who we are as an individual. This will then bring us together as a collective by learning how to treat others, the way we would want to be treated!

Spreading kindness and love to anyone who walks into our daily lives is simple when there is no lying, judging, stealing, jealously, or hate. These feeling all start somewhere, so it is time we take a closer look at our own thoughts and judgments and see if there needs to be a change. This is something we seldom do, to really look within and think about it.

The next time you are out or around others, pay attention to your responses and your actions. What do they display? Is it how you would like to be treated if the roles were reversed?

Most of behavior is habit, patterns we have formed since childhood and never became fully aware of the reactions they hold. Paying attention to this will allow a change to be seen in the world, by first changing ourselves. Peace on earth becomes possible when we find peace within ourselves.

So I invite you to join me on this journey of self-exploration and understanding about who we really are and the influence we have on each other. We are all connected and it is time we start helping each other grow, instead of pulling each other down.

Begin your journey into the world you want to see…

Let’s think about this for a minute. If you could choose the kind of world you want to live in, how would it be? And don’t limit your thoughts, because it is the imagination that creates reality.

Every thought we have has a reaction within ourselves and then that expands into the world around us. Energy is constantly flowing, creating what we see. Our true selves are made of energy. Our bodies are made of energy, just as everything else around us.

My Human Experience: Journey To Self Discovery

Just like many of us, I have always wanted to accomplish my goals and become the best version of myself. Actually stick to my New Year’s resolutions and accomplish my personal goals this year so I can be the best I possibly can without wasting another second.

I want to feel good about myself all of the time; to free myself from what holds me down. I want to take advantage of the time I have and do more of what I love!

For as long as I can remember, I have had most of the same “goals” written down on my list of things to accomplish.

I want to eat healthier and drink less. I want to gain more money and not have to stress so often. I want to get over my fears and anxieties and be more adventurous. I want look in the mirror and see my dream body, feeling comfortable in anything I wear. I want to wake up early and finally become that morning person!

I want to have a clear, healthy mindset so I can say good-bye to all my insecurities, to all the thoughts and emotions that don’t serve an uplifting purpose and say hello to my best life. I don’t want anything to hold me back any longer, including myself.

There always seems to be an excuse (usually many) that I can come up with that stops me in my place and holds me back from succeeding and living the best way that I can.

Right now I am going to make enough time to enjoy my life the way I want to live it. Feeling good about my life every moment because lets face it, when we are truly living, we feel blessed to be alive!

When we look around at our lives we should be so happy to see the faces of the ones we love looking back at us, thankful that we know them and get to be part of their lives. We all want wants best for our loved ones and by taking care of yourself first, you then can help others around you succeed in their lives as well.

Discovering who you are and achieving the best version of yourself spreads to your loved ones, encouraging them to better themselves as well! It gets contagious! Spreading like wild flowers in a field of sunshine. Life is something we all want to enjoy every second of, so lets do it and live the best damn life that we can!

The goals that always seem to be marked as my “future goals” need to become my present and current life, no longer future goals but a way of living!

Guide To Self Discovery…

I am on a journey to Self Discovery to become the best I can be by doing a series of self hypnosis and meditation practices to help get rid of built up baggage of bad feelings, anxieties, guilt, fear, anger, mental blocks, and anything that does not benefit me for my highest good.

I invite you to join me on the path of your own self discovery and the fulfillment of your true potential.

Meditation and Self Hypnosis are one of the best things a person can do for their overall health and enjoyment in life; to find happiness and peace within.

It also helps to reflect that positive energy back into the world around us; to truly start spreading an awareness within.

Thankfully, meditation is becoming more well-known as people continue to spread their knowledge of the benefits to forming a healthy habit of meditating daily. This link about mindfulness meditation gives great examples on the benefits meditation has on our society and on our overall health.

What most people do not realize is that hypnosis is meditation with intention.

Whether you hypnotize yourself or have a professional do it for you, hypnosis is a great exercise to achieve your goals and find your highest self; your true essence, the core of your being.

Although it may by a surprise to hear, hypnosis feels the same as meditation…

Your conscious mind is still present during a hypnosis session. At times it feels as if you are awake during a dream. Consciously present but completely relaxed and at peace with yourself and the world around you.

Some people are mistaken when they think you are unconscious during hypnosis. That is why many people will think hypnosis isn’t working on them during a session and that they are “still here.”

This feeling is perfectly normal, most of the time our conscious minds cannot tell how deep of a trance we are in. We may think we are fully present until we re-listen to the recorded session and realize just how deeply relaxed we truly were.

Your conscious mind is never turned ‘off’ it’s just simply quieted so the deeper part of you, the subconscious, can come forward and be exposed to good suggestion or accessed for the retrieval of deeply buried memories.

The amount of storage you can access when your subconscious mind is present and up front is astonishing!

Many crimes have been solved by doing hypnotherapy on a eye-witness of a crime. Without being in hypnosis the eye-whiteness can only remember bits and pieces of what happened and usually get even simple facts wrong by remembering the color of a car incorrectly or if the man suspected had facial hair or not.

When the same eye-witness is asked to recall the event while put in a hypnosis trance, they can remember every single detail with perfect clarity as if they were right there standing back at the present time the crime took place.

Our brain can be compared to an extremely complex computer. We just have to learn how to use it properly.

Just like meditation, hypnosis gets easier with practice. I am a living example of this, the more days that go by practicing hypnosis, the easier it is for me to fall into a hypnotic trance.

Hypnosis can be viewed as a deep meditation because that’s exactly what it is. It gently pushes your conscious mind (where all the worry/doubt lives) aside, exposing your deepest self in a quick, enjoyable way.

Healing Hypnosis is the key to finally overcoming your fears and achieving your greatest goals. Hypnotherapy has been proven to have a 93% success rating after a few sessions. This is astounding compared to the average therapy session that normally take years until a break through is reached.

If you decide it’s time to better your life and give it your all, I guarantee you will notice a big difference after even just one hypnosis session, either done through self-hypnosis or professionally, you will feel noticeably lighter on all levels.

As I travel on my journey to self discovery, I will be using various self hypnosis and meditative practices that can be found in the book, Self Hypnosis and other mind expanding techniques by Charles Tebbetts. This book was given to me by my father when I first got into hypnotherapy.

It has been one of the most helpful books for me to truly understand how it all works. There is an abundance of great knowledge given in the book as a short, easy read that helps you learn different techniques to find what works best for you.

There are many helpful self hypnosis books and websites out there that has tons of interesting information if you look for it, but this book is one of my favorites!

Subscribe by email to be notified when I post new free hypnosis meditations that will help you on your journey as it has helped me.

Ease your way into hypnosis and meditation by doing this Guided Morning Glory Meditation at least once daily for three weeks to noticeably change your life and feel lighter on all levels.

I recommend combining the morning glory meditation with The Bubble Meditation to fully understand how meditation should feel.

In order completely improve my life on all levels, I will not only preform self hypnosis twice daily, but also eat healthy (what feels good for my body) by limiting my intake of dairy and meat, allowing only small amounts of white meat and fish into my diet and eliminating red meat and pork all together.

My diet will consist of mainly fruits (in the morning) and LOTS of vegetables. It is important to get enough complete proteins in your diet, especially when eating vegetarian. A great way to get complete proteins in your diet would be eating black beans with rice or toast with peanut butter.

This way of eating is what makes me feel happy and healthy so you should always base your diet off of what makes you happy and healthy!

Remember, it does not have to be the same as me, just whatever makes you feel good! 🙂

I also like to have yummy nutritious juice drink with simple ingredients to get an extra boost of energy. The trick is to add orange juice to any nutritional juice drink to make it taste great!

I will also be sure to drink plenty of water. My body craves water more than most, but according to health experts, an average person should drink eight ounces of water daily. That’s 8 cups of water every day.

A fun, easy way to meet your personal mark for water intake is by making a pitcher full of flavored water and leaving it in the fridge for your convenience. I like to do lemon slices, orange slices, and/ or cucumber slices.

Green tea and oolong tea are both packed full of antioxidants and lowers cholesterol along with many other benefits. Also it just makes me happy to drink tea so I will make sure to do that for myself as well.

The goal here is to just make sure you treat your body right, and you are the only judge of your own body. Whatever makes your body feel right and fully functioning will make you happy and feel good on all levels!

Do what feels right for you and don’t worry about what diets are “supposed to be”, they never work anyway 😉

When you are following the path of what makes you feel good, everything else around you seems to just fall into place.

I am doing this “Life Challenge” so I can live my life to my fullest potential and hopefully encourage others to do the same!

Too often we are pushed down when we dare to do something “outside of lines” and we tend to worry about what we “need” to do and we end up not taking a chance at all and living life in misery.

Having faith in an outcome and believing in what YOU feel is right in your heart is the best thing you can do for your life!

When an idea brings JOY to your heart, then you KNOW that is the right choice. If you can’t see past the blurry lines of the unknown, don’t stress, just breathe and let go. When you focused on what you don’t want to happen, it tends to happen.

So if you are unsure, just let go of control.

Think about what you want to see and only that. Don’t worry about how or when, just give it time, trust, and faith and you will see things fall into place. The universe has a way of working things out and planning the “how” and “when” for us. No matter what it is.

What you give out, comes back to you. Where focus goes, energy flows.

Don’t worry about how people judge you because I can promise you, we are own worst critics. And that is a fact!

Have faith and trust in yourself and in the universe that all things are possible and what is meant to be is already done.

Trust yourself that when you just go with the flow of your heart and do what feels good and right to you, you can rest assure that you are on the right path.

Change Your Life In 3 Weeks With This Guided Self Hypnosis Meditation…

CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE,
CHANGE YOUR WORLD.

If you look at things a little different, it may change your entire life for the better and gain what you have always wanted to achieve…

I created this guided Hypnosis Meditation practice to help uplift and create a better, happier life for myself and others.

This meditation is a great start to every day! It helps release what no longer serves us, to release unwanted “baggage” so we can achieve a lighter, happier life.

It is important to express what we are grateful for in life because the feeling of Gratitude is the key to everything. By expressing gratitude about all that is good in life, we help to attract more good, positive energy our way! This helps to us to change our current life for the better, improve our mood, and rise our vibration to a higher level.

If we change our perspective to encourage the good in our life we can make a huge positive impact on our life. We can allow and attract good things to come our way by letting go of bad emotions that do not help us to grow and only weighs us down.

When we allow ourselves to take a moment to slow down and experience the feeling of gratitude, we take the time to live in that moment to really imagine how it feels to have an abundant life.

Experiencing gratitude gives us a moment to bliss out in the feeling of abundance. This helps us to accept a life that is truly full and complete, making it become our reality.

If we set the intention of what we want to see in our life and release what holds us down, we make room for good energy to enter our life and we improve it on all levels.

Meditation helps us to let go of stress and uplift our emotions so we can live a happier life!

When we express our gratitude we are living in the moment of joy. We are experiencing the joy of receiving what we want or need in our life. This helps us to rise our vibration to positively effect our lives and allow the things we need and want to come to us!

Listen every day for 3 weeks to noticeably change your life for the better! If you allow yourself to experience the good, it will come to you.

To breathe easy and trust that you are taken care of by the universe is allowing good energy to flow into your life.

A guided meditation makes it easy to get a small taste of what a hypnosis session feels like!

This is an easy way to ease into hypnosis and mediation in a relaxing, calming way.

It helps you to slow down in a simple, natural way so you can practice what it feels like to let yourself go into complete relaxation.

It feels great, like taking a short nap! Taking around a 20 minute nap is great for “pushing the restart button” and gaining an energy boost that will last all day.

The key is to just lay back and unwind, allowing yourself to relax and slow down so you can de-stress and refresh for a new day. It is an easy, fun way to release unwanted feelings to become lighter, making way for new positive outcomes in your life!

Feel free to do the meditation twice a day. It is a great way to start easing your body into learning how to let go and meditate.

When thoughts arise, simply observe them and let them “float by.” It is important not to analyze your thoughts and to simply let them drift away. Let them come and go.

An easy way to do this is through a short exercise called The Bubble Mediation, to simply put your thoughts in a “bubble” when they arise and then to let the bubble drift away without over analyzing it.

Observe and release.

It gets easier with practice, I promise 🙂

This Hypnosis Meditation practice is a great one for beginners

It is an easy mediation to learn how it feels to be hypnotized, to clear yourself of what holds you down and to raise your mood.

I recommend doing this hypnosis meditation in the morning so you can have a great mindset to take on anything the day brings you.

I like to do it before I get out of bed in the morning so I great off to a great, refreshed start to my day! This mediation can be enjoyed at anytime that is comfortable for you.

*It is common to have old, unresolved emotions rise to the surface after starting a meditation practice. This is perfectly natural and a good sign! It means the deepest part of you is purging what was never processed and you are now ready to observe it and let it go, allowing yourself to heal from the past once and for all so you can fully move into a brighter future!

Thank You and I hope you enjoy this mediation as much as I do!

Morning Glory – Guided Meditation.

Morning Glory – Guided Hypnosis Meditation

By Davina Antonucci

       ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Take three deep breaths, hold each breath for three seconds and exhale slowly (sleep deep)

Now, bring your focus to your right foot. Relax your toes on your right foot letting every nerve in your right toes to become loose and limp. Now, move your focus to the left foot and relax your toes on your left foot the same way, allowing them to become loose and limp.

Now allow this loose, relaxed feeling to spread down into your left foot, all the way from the toes down to the heel of your foot. Allow this relaxed feeling to move to your right foot in the same way, from your toes alllll the way down to your heel.

You may be feeling your body begin to tingle with relaxing energy. This is a good feeling and we allow this feeling to continue to travel throughout the body. This relaxing, tingling feeling moves up your calf muscles, around your knees, and up your thigh muscles, allowing every nerve to let go and relax the way they do when you are sleeping.

You begin to feel the tingles of the relaxing energy in the tips of your fingers. You allow the feeling to spread to each finger and as your fingers relax, they feel loose and limp. Your fingers let go, allowing the calming sensation to spread over your hands and up to your forearms. This is a good, peaceful feeling as your body begins to slow down the way it does when you are sleeping.

Now, take another deep breath. You know that with every breath you take, and every sound you hear, helps you to go deeper, and deeper into drowsy relaxation. You are now breathing easy the way a sleeper breathes.

You feel the calming energy traveling allllll the way up your arms, around your shoulders and down your back. The feeling of relaxation flows through your torso and back around to your back muscles. Releasing any tensity that used to be in the back muscles. The tingles of relaxation feel better than any massage as it encapsulates every nerve and muscle from the inside out along your lower and upper back.

The relaxing feeling gently wraps all the way around your neck and up around your head. The tingling feeling of relaxation spreads across your jaw, allowing your jaws to separate and your tongue to completely relax. Your cheeks relax, your eyes relax, allowing them to completely let go. This wonderful feeling smoothes over your eyebrows and over your forehead, allowing the energy to move allllll the way around your scalp.

You feel the tingling energy as it calms every nerve, and every thought that enters your mind. You allow this calming energy to relax your mind and you feel the peace it brings you. Every part of your brain, every neuron, every atom, every fiber and nerve in your being relaxes, allowing you to connect and bring forward the deepest part of your essence. You allowing your conscious mind to gently drift away as the relaxing energy encapsulates every ounce of your entire body, allowing loving energy to move through you, connecting you to the highest part of your being.

You allow the deepest part of you to come forward as your conscious mind takes a break and steps aside. You always allow your deepest, most highest self to come through clearly every time you go into a hypnotic and meditative state. You let yourself feel the connection every day, and with every day that passes, the connection grows stronger and clearer, knowing that throughout the each day you are one and one with your higher self.

Now, take this time to appreciate allllll of the good that is in your life. Silently follow along with the words of Gratitude. Thank You, for I am so grateful that my body is healthy. Thank you. I am so grateful that my mind is healthy and that I am complete and fully functioning. Thank You, for I am so grateful for my unique beauty that brightens the lives of others. Thank You for my life. I always feel so content and happy when I look around at my life. Thank you, for I am so grateful for all of my loved ones. My life is beautiful and it is a blessing to be alive in this body with all of my experiences in my comprehensive existence.

I am so Grateful for all who are patient with me as I learn and grow each and every day in this life. Thank you for the continuous support, protection, and guidance while I live my life here on Earth. Thank You for your never ending Love and understanding as I step closer and closer to enlightenment every single day. I know I am guided and I allow myself to hear and feel this guidance on every level every day.

As I lay down to go to sleep at night I take three deep breaths and simply think ‘gratitude’ and all that I am Grateful for goes up to Source energy and comes back down to me, reaching out and expanding my gratitude on to all levels of existence for all that I need and want. I allow this energy to flow into my life each and every day, allowing it to serve me for my greater good.

I know I am always taken care of and I allow myself to be taken care of every single day. I always accept and allow the good things to come to me and I spread my good energy out into the world around me. I continue to release what no longer serves me and accept the good that the universe gives to me.

I feel connected to Source energy every day and I see the beauty in the life around me. I know Source energy never waivers nor breaks; it is continuous. Thank You, for I am so grateful that I am always guided on my journey through life. Thank you, I am so grateful that my life is always abundant.

Thank you for I am so grateful that my mind is clear and fully functioning every single day. I am confident in myself and know that my mind works quick and is like an advanced computer system that holds onto my knowledge. Anytime I seek an answer, my conscious mind instantly connects with my subconscious to easily retrieve and deliver the answer.

I am so grateful that our minds can do this and I appreciate the amazing power of my mind. I am able to use it correctly to benefit me in my daily life. My mind feels good all of the time therefore I am able to control my emotions and only allow the healthy emotions to come through. I harbor only healthy emotions and reject all others.

I know that every person has their own reality based on their own experience and perspective. I know that if I were born into someone else’s body and experienced every single moment in the same order as they did, then I would act the same exact way as they do. Therefore, I accept all others and realize that I would do the same if I were that person with their same body, experience, and level of awareness.

I accept all others and know there is something to love about everyone and I forgive all those who do things I disapprove of. I am thankful for my level of awareness, my experience, and the person I am today. I know that I am constantly changing for the better. I am growing my consciousness and stepping closer to enlightenment every single day.

I feel good about myself and know that my beauty is unique and unlike anyone else’s. I am grateful for always feeling healthy in my mind and body and I allow this good health to reflect in my looks, giving me a healthy, happy glow every day. Because I feel so healthy and happy, I am able to easily allow myself to be full of pep and energy every day.

Every morning I wake up feeling completely refreshed and ready to start my day! It is easy for me to feel motivated and energized  because I am always well rested after my night’s sleep. After my hypnosis meditations, I always get extra surge of energy that lasts all day long. Because I have all this pep and energy, my days are extremely productive and I always have a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

Because I feel this good and have all this useful energy, it is easy for me to take on anything that happens throughout my day. I am so grateful that I have all this energy that lasts all day long. I appreciate every second of my day, knowing that I am always living the best way possible and reaching my full potential. Thank You, for I am so grateful for my life and the guidance I receive to fulfill my life’s purpose and live the best way that I possibly can.

Now, lay here a moment longer and enjoy the time you have connected to your subconscious. Always know that your conscious mind and your subconscious mind are one and one. With every day that goes by, the connection between you and your subconscious gets stronger and stronger.

Everytime you go through a hypnosis meditation practice you become aware of your subconscious and are able to understand and communicate clearly with your higher-self. You and your higher-self become one and one. Your thoughts blend all day long and the connection grows stronger and clearer with every day that passes.

Now, it is time to return to normal consciousness. You feel wonderfully rested and are ready to wake up now. I am counting to ten and when I reach ten, you will feel vitality and energy surging through your entire body and mind. You are wide awake and feel motivated to start your day on the count of ten.

1,2… You are beginning to breathe a little faster, your blood is beginning to circulate a little faster because you’re beginning to wake up now.

3,4… You are becoming aware of the physical body, very much aware of the physical body because you are waking up now. When you awaken, you feel full of pep and energy.

5,6… You are becoming aware of the sounds in the room and the sounds outside of the room. You are very much aware of your physical surroundings because you are more and more awake!

7,8… More and more awake! You are coming up very nicely now, knowing exactly where you are and oriented back to the correct time and place. You are feeling very awake now!

9,10… Wide awake! Wide awake now feeling wonderful all over! Open your eyes, take a deep breath, stretch, and feel rested and refreshed all over!

The Bubble Meditation…

This meditation is an easy was to practice observing your thoughts and letting them go without over analyzing.

The Bubble Meditation exercise can be found in the book Self Hypnosis and Other Mind Expanding Techniques By Charles Tebbetts.

How to practice the Bubble Meditation…

Sit quietly and take three long, deep breaths. Inhale, holding each breath for 3 seconds and exhale slowly, thinking to yourself ‘sleep deep.’ Imagine that with each breath you take, you are telling your body it is time to slow down and go to “sleep.”

If it is hard for you to slow down your body this way you can try a different approach. Try relaxing each body part separately, starting at your toes and working your way up to your head, telling each part to be limp and loose.

For an example of this, listen the beginning of my hypnosis meditation practice, Morning Glory -Guided Meditation.

After taking three deeps breaths…

Let your mind go as ‘blank’ as possible.

Every time a thought rises (which will happen, don’t fight it) simply imagine the thought is enclosed in a ‘bubble’ and then let the bubble rise and drift away after about 6 or 7 seconds.

If it makes it easier for you, you can imagine yourself sitting at the bottom of a clear, peaceful lake, or in any body of water, and imagining that your thoughts are the air bubbles floating up to the surface and letting them disappear when they reach the surface.

Let the ‘thought bubbles’ to float up for 6 or 7 seconds and then let them go. Continue this method for any thought that rises.

If the same thought keeps reoccurring, that is okay and normal! Simply continue to regard it as a bubble let it drift away without analyzing it, just observing that it is there and letting it float away again.

The goal is to observe and release the thought without reading into it or analyzing it.

This may be tricky at first because our minds are normally not accustomed to doing this so keep trying. It will get easier and easier the more you do it.

This exercise helps us to separate ourselves from our thoughts. Making it clear that we are not our thoughts, we just simply think them but they do not define who we are.

This is important because we have been so conditioned to define ourselves through our ego.

We are raised to learn to say “my name is ______ and this is who I am”, when we are actually so much deeper then just the mere surface of our thoughts.

Our name is how we identify but it is not who we are.

This exercise helps us to learn how to separate ourselves from our egos and get closer to who we truly are. It helps us discover and connect with the deeper, more real part of ourselves instead of only remaining on the surface.

Continue to let your thoughts come and go for as long as you desire. I recommend doing this exercise for 10 minutes a day to start and then 15 to 20 mins daily after it becomes easier (normally after one to two weeks).

Every time you forget and remember again to enclose your thoughts in a bubble you are going deeper and deeper into a meditative hypnosis trance.

Your conscious mind will remain the entire so do not worry that you aren’t doing it correctly, you are. You may feel yourself start to drift back after practicing this for a few days. This is normal but not necessary to achieve the goal of the exercise.

The Bubble Meditation helps to change the way we view our thoughts and trains us to observe from a different perspective and helps us to learn how to let go.

Hope you enjoy this exercise! Feel free to comment with any questions 🙂

Journey To Self Discovery Begins With Letting Go…

I chose to focus on anger and hostility. Those of you who know me know that I wouldn’t be considered to be an angry person and like most of us, I would never label myself as one either.

But just like every human, I have experienced hurt and disappointment throughout my life. We get let down countless times and we end up internalizing just about all of it.

Even though most of us wouldn’t consider ourselves to be an angry person, that doesn’t mean we don’t hold onto anger and hostile emotions within us.

When something in our life causes us pain and disappointment we usually tend to cover it up by either ignoring that it hurts as much as it does, or by complaining and getting irritated every time the subject matter arises.

Instead of releasing it we push it down, causing it to festering within us.

Typically we wouldn’t have any idea we’ve done this. We just keep going with our lives and at some point, usually with stress as the trigger, it explodes!

We take it out on our spouse or best friend, mother or father, sometimes even on whoever just happens to be there. Most of the time we freak on something that is so simple and is not even relevant to what we are truly upset by.

We justify our furry in so many ways, not even realizing we are angry and upset at the painful emotions we bottled up for such a long period of time. This happens again and again during our lives and we don’t even take a moment to confront our emotions to figure them out. Always thinking it is because of an outward reason when really it is coming from within us.

We consciously decide we are validly upset for whatever reason strikes us in the moment of emotional exasperation. We don’t even realize it’s actually because of deep seeded pain that spins into anger after suppressing it for long enough.

Holding anger and hostility inside you, even if you are not aware of it, can cause physical illnesses. Our deeper part of us, the subconscious, tries it’s absolute best to grab our attention so we can become aware of the pain we hold onto; recognize it, release it, and then finally heal from it.

Our inner essence does everything it can to make our conscious, surface leveled mind aware of all the pain we harbor. Sadly no matter how hard it tries, we rarely slow down enough to realize when we need stop and listen in order to reflect and hear our guidance.

Like most people, I wouldn’t consider myself to be angry or hold onto any anger inside me, but I wanted to do an experiment. How much would the anger and hostility affirmation effect me if I am not an angry person?

What I Discovered…

For about a week and a half after starting my controlling anger and hostility affirmation, I was being bombarded by unwelcome thoughts of people of my past. And let me tell you, I did NOT want to be thinking about them.

Every time these people would unwillingly pop into my thoughts I would push them away and become very annoyed that they were entering my mind. It was happening all day long and I couldn’t stop it. It got to the point where they even started appearing in my dreams, and these were not pleasant dreams!

You would think because I was doing the anger and hostility affirmations I would put two and two together, but it wasn’t until I went for a lone car ride when I realized the connection.

These irritating thoughts of people who have disappointed and crushed me over the years were still causing me pain. I was finally at a point that I could no longer tolerate.

I said out loud into my empty car, “WHY! STOP IT! Why can’t I stop these thoughts!? Why am I having these dreams!!?” Then I instantly knew what to do. I needed to take a moment to figure it out. I said to myself, “Okay, lets figure this out. WHY?

It took being alone in a car with nothing to do except face my thoughts for me to have that AH-HA! moment. I felt so silly for not putting it together in the first place but that goes to show how much we push aside our thoughts and feelings because we don’t want to face them.

Being so emotionally attached to something can sometimes alter our vision. We don’t see what’s right in front of us until we are forced to look at the pieces as a whole to see the big picture.

I finally realized and accepted that I must have been angry with these people and situations in my life. The anger/hostility affirmation was purging these thoughts to the surface. My subconscious wanted me to confront them so I could release and forgive, allowing me to finally let go and move forward.

After recognizing that a part of me was still angry at those people, I remember that every person goes through their own experiences that shapes them to who they are today.

There is really no point in holding angry towards somebody because if you were born as that person and went through each moment and experience as that person did, then you would act EXACTLY the same as that person does.

We have all heard the saying, “walk in somebody else’s shoes,” but have you ever thought about it that deeply?

If you were born as that person and went through every single moment, every single experience JUST as they did, you would do, think, and act exactly as they do.

Once you let that sink in, you see the only person anger is hurting is you.

I decided to look at each person who has done me wrong individually in my minds-eye and say, “I still love you for your good qualities, and I forgive you for your bad.” I went down the line and told each person this, as if I were with them at that moment, “I love your good, and I forgive your bad.”

Then I was simply able to let it go, allowing that to be the end of harboring that negativity.

I released them and it felt amazing! I could literally feel the weight of those kept up emotions leave, realizing the weight I had been carrying. I felt lighter and those who know me noticed it too.

~.*~.*~*.~Part Two~.*~*.~*.~

In addition to working on releasing any built up feelings, I wanted to work on becoming a “morning person.”

I have always had a super hard time waking up early in the morning. I even remember from grade school being grumpy, hating the fact that my mother was forcing me to go to school in the morning.

It’s WAY to early for a human being to be awake, I would think. So you could say I have always dreaded the sound of the alarm clock in the morning.

As I got older my dislike of waking up early in the morning turned into a habit. It was hard for me to be fully awake before 10am. I needed my sleep and I tried any to justify it in my own head any way I could.

Most of the time I would notice how cozy I was in bed and if the dogs were snuggling too? Forget about it, I was falling back to sleep in no time! Every time I would try to be a “morning person” I would succeed for a very short time and then the habit right was back to its regular routine.

So naturally I thought it would be awesome if I could finally kick this habit for good! I decided to make my own suggestion about being a morning person but I was not sure how it would work out.

I had never wrote a suggestion or an affirmation before so I turned to my book, Self Hypnosis and other mind expanding techniques by Charles Tebbetts, for help.

I successfully wrote a suggestion which I call “Morning Person.” In my Morning Person suggestion I encourage the idea that every night when I go to bed, I take three deep breaths that always relax me completely, and I get a great night’s sleep, knowing that because I have such a restful sleep, I will wake up in the morning feeling refreshed, excited and ready for my day first thing in the early morning!

While recording my self hypnosis tapes I did not take into account that when I said first thing in the morning, I was telling my subconscious that I meant first thing! I woke up the next morning with my eyes wide awake, ready to go at six am! I wanted to wake up early, but not that early!

I should have gotten up, but I was cuddly with my man and the dogs so I decided to go back to sleep.

The next morning I woke up at six am! Once again I did the same thing and then repeated my bad habit.

What I realized was that I can wake up feeling fine but can quickly decide to ignore my energy and snuggle back in, allowing the temptation of the warm covers get me.

I went about my day and did my self hypnosis but this time I did something different.

I pictured “first thing in the early morning” as seven am and then mentally pictured the clock at 7:00am and an amazing thing happened. The next morning I woke up at seven am with no alarm clocks set!

Now all I am working on is continuing to get up out of bed when I first wake up, not giving myself the chance to lay there any longer then a few seconds until this habit is set in stone. I aim to continue this healthy habit and choose to feel motivated and inspired as soon as I get out of bed!

Anger Be Bitter

He gets like this every once in awhile, like he’s irritated from the inside out deep within his skin. The frustration seeps through his pores. It makes me cringe. The impulsive anger bursts out before you could ever know it was coming.

The alcohol enhances it, but he does it sober too. He tenses up every muscle, especially in his arms and neck. The shoulders hunch forward and at the same time he puffs his chest, squeezing the blood right to his face. Jackal and Mr. Hide. His true essence is nothing like that. In his right state of being he would not loose patience so quickly. The alcohol brings his fuse to the end, allowing the energy to burst like dynamite.

He’s not alone, you know. Everyone gets like this sometimes. It happens because of the pressure. It’s too heavy to handle all of the time. There has to be a release, but too often the release is done with anger. It’s funny how the more you get to know someone the more you get used to them hurting you and the more ‘normal’ it feels.

Cold Without A Partner

it’s cold without a partner. Who wouldn’t think so? This is Earth after all, the disconnected plain of existence. The isolated realm of the galaxy. Living here we tend to be persuaded to think so. The flesh of our bodies are immersed in the tainted exposure of society. Our skin seeps in the surrounding environment. Car exhaust, pesticides, unnatural chemicals, negative thoughts, bad attitudes, greed, jealousy; the list continues and proceeds on an unfair path to confusion and frustration. A path that is being encouraged to follow every step of the way. It is our job to look past this and find our own path, one with love and heart. One where the heart is the only thing followed, allowing love to embrace each and every Thing around you. After all, Love is the only thing we truly crave. There is nothing more real than love. In this world so full of hate, Love takes over every time. Even the ugliest being was a child at a time, searching for the warmth of its parents’ nurturing love. It is time we must embrace this. We can no longer hide our faces behind the thick drapery of a curtain, holding our breath to not speak our minds.
